Assoc. Prof. Xianxun Wang

Biography: Xianxun Wang is currently working as an associate professor at the College of Resources and Environment, Yangtze University. His research is focused on the integration of renewable energy resources via dispatching hydropower facilities, in terms of 1) characterization of fluctuation which reflects the impacts of wind and PV power on the grid, 2) adding new hydropeaking task to existing duties of hydropower considering the time-changing constraints and the spatial diversity of reservoir, 3) influences on the river eco-system caused the renewable energy mix.

Dr. Wesam Al Madhoun

Biography: Dr. Al Madhoun holds a PhD of Environmental Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) and A fellowship on Sustainable Cities at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has 15 years of working experience (teaching, training, research and consultancy), where he had assignments in Palestine, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, South Korea, USA and Canada. He was a Research Professor at University of Seoul and a visiting scholar at University of Windsor. Dr Al Madhoun conducted several international training programs of Sustainable Development and Environmental Assessment. He also was a consultant” for the international project “Building Healthy Cities in Indonesia”. In terms of publications, he has more than 50 papers published at international peer reviewed journals and international conferences. Currently he is leading a global initiative “Impact Youth Sustainability – Ambassadors of Sustainability” which has more than 10400 members from 120 countries and He is the Director for Centre of Sustainable Development at Gaza University.

Assoc. Prof. LIU Jiu

Biography: Liu Jiu is an associate professor in Harbin Engineering University working in law, who obtained her PhD from China University of Politicla Science and Law in the year of 2016. And she had been a visiting scholar to University of California, Davis financially supported by China Scholarship Commission ffor one year from 2014. Now, she gives lectures on nuclear law, international law, and international trade and commercial law. Currently, she is doing most of her research on nuclear law, esp nuclear damage liability.
